Wyntir and friends get more at “Festival with Heart”

Family is very important even when you are a rhino! Fund raiser done at local festival

Our adopted baby rhino Wyntir has blossomed in the kind and caring hands of Care for Wild.  Wytinr has come a long way from the scared and injured baby rhino that lost her mother to poachers. 

While being nursed back to health by Care for Wild she was housed with another orphaned female rhino called Tana. The two formed a tight bond and shortly after Tana’s arrival the ‘sisters’ where introduced to a male rhino. It was love at first sight for Wyntir. The three formed a close “family” unit. 

At the launch of the festival, Protecting the Rhino’s announced they will be renewing its sponsorship to Care for Wild for another year but with a difference; the new sponsorship will cater for the new family group; Wyntir, Tana and Mabush.

The “Festival with Heart” was the theme for Innibos and how appropriate for our Wyntir and friends at Care for Wild.  With the renewed sponsorship they can continue caring for Wyntir and her new family.
